The Stitch at West Norwood Feast
We had great fun and got lots of donations which will go towards fixing the sewing machines, keeping the group in sewing bits and bobs so we can continue to teach either other new skills 🙂
Such a hot sunny day – and maybe we should start doing ice cold drinks as they were very popular!
We do have some some goodies left so please let us know if you are interested in helping the community group with keeping it awesome and open to all!
Just a small selection shown below – we have a basket in the L’Arche / Rock Paper Scissors Shop that you can make a donation towards.

We also got to chat to Bex from the Library of Things who were right next to our table.
They might be able to help with a new space for us while L’Arche are refitting out the workshops (they close down for a few months!) so it would be fantastic to be with other Open Works start ups 🙂
West Norwood has so many community groups that all link together giving scope to new projects, opportunities and a great way to help people get away from isolation and stress – the word ‘community’ has been lost in some places but it’s very much alive in West Norwood!
Great music by Los Domingos which got everyone dancing!

We hope to see you at the next Stitch session 11-2pm and we will be working on the fidget blankets again – but as always you can bring a project with you or just come to ask questions or learn something new 🙂
